Description The Cloud CAS-16 Expansion System for the Cloud CAM-16 Audio Distribution Matris is a 2U rack- mounting “slave†unit, which connects to the CAM-16 via a multi- core cable and is used if more than 16 headphone stations are needed. Up to 15 CAS-16 sub-stations can be added to the system providing a total of 256 outputs per system. Additional units are simply “daisy-chained†as required. Each CAS-16 unit can drive16 headphone stations, with exactly the same facilities as those connected to the CAM-16. Interconnection between the base unit(s) and the remote headphone stations is via standard CAT-5 cabling, making installation very simple.
